Dear Resident,
Following reports from members of the public regarding regular drug use in the Broomfield Pond area off Broomfield Road, Herne Bay, officers have been attending the location to monitor the situation and take appropriate action where necessary.
On 24 May 2026, officers attended the area and conducted a stop and search, resulting in two individuals being found in possession of cannabis. Both individuals were dealt with by way of out-of-court disposals, with a condition imposed that they do not return to the area.
We will continue to proactively patrol the area and respond to concerns reported by residents. Thank you for your continued support.
